This course will introduce students to the fascinating field of astronomy, covering its history and evolution, fundamental scientific principles of motion and gravity, modern concepts in astronomy, and the techniques used by astronomers to gain knowledge about the universe.
Other topics will include the solar system, the Milky Way and other galaxies, and the sun and stars. Through the use of online resources, students will explore the life cycle of stars, characteristics of planets, and the ongoing exploration of space.
